Gira Los Pirineos

This fantastic 6-day trip starts in Barcelona, the vibrant city on the Costa de Ponet, also known as Costa Barcelona.

In 6 occasionally tough days on the motorbike we will take you along all the highlights that this special part of Spain has to offer. From the high peaks of the Pico de Aneto (where we ride up to 3400 meters altitude) to the spectacular Valley of the River Ara, with its insane views.

We will spend the night in the nostalgic Hotel & Spa Monasterio de Boltaña. In this beautiful setting on the Ara River, we will set up our bivouac until Saturday morning.

The high altitudes, challenging gravel roads and rugged nature of the Pyrenees make this a trip for real adventurers!

Return Barcelona

The starting and ending point of the Gira Los Pirineos is the cosmopolitan city by the sea, Barcelona. This city certainly invites you to extend your stay in Spain after this beautiful motorcycle adventure. After all, your motorcycle and luggage will be transported again, so you don't have to worry about it anymore. From Sunday morning, after breakfast, you are 'free to go'.

Of course, don't forget to take your beautiful memories home with you.

You travel to Barcelona on your own. But from the moment we welcome you, you don't have to think about anything. Then it's time to enjoy. We make sure everything is arranged for you, and we don't cut corners. Because we understand that a lighter motorcycle is more fun to drive, we transport your luggage in a follow-up car. When you arrive at your hotel, your luggage will be ready in your single room. Nice, right?

How is your knowledge of the Spanish off-road roads in the Pyrenees? We thought so! That is why we meet seasoned off-road specialists in Botaña who know the area like the back of their hand. Motor enthusiasts who have been riding around in the mountains of the Pyrenees for years and organize adventurous off-road motorcycle trips there. In Barcelona our motorcycles are ready and Bart arranges the loading and unloading for us. He accompanies our group of maximum 8 people during the trip for the transport, after drinks, music, dance, snacks and a helping hand with any tinkering work on your motorcycle.

Sunday June 15, 2025 - Ibis hotel Barcelona

Arrival at Barcelona-El Prat International Airport, Barcelona. Make your own way to the nearby Ibis Hotel.

This afternoon we will unload our bikes and prepare for the journey. We will probably crown this with a small welcome drink.

Then we check into the hotel for a good night's sleep. We will sleep in the same hotel for the last night, so behave yourself.

Monday June 16, 2025 - Hotel & Spa Monasterio De Boltaña

At 09:00 we have breakfast and leave at 10:00. We are really going to start! We get on our way to Boltaña. It will be a more than winding mountain ride on asphalt. In the afternoon we explore the beautiful rural villages in the beautiful valleys and between mountain passes. On the way we make time for Coffee & Lunch

Tuesday, June 17, 2025 - Hotel & Spa Monasterio De Boltaña

Today our instructors are eager to get to know us and our riding skills. We have breakfast at 08:00 and leave at 09:00. We travel in two groups and let ourselves be surprised by the routes that these specialists have in store. Let's see what tough stories have been written at the communal lunch.

Wednesday, June 18, 2025 - Hotel & Spa Monasterio De Boltaña

Today our tour guides are waiting for us with renewed courage. Our destination for today: Another part of the infinitely beautiful mountain range. Will the weather be as challenging as yesterday? .

Although most of today's route will be gravel and stones again, we will also cross several mountain passes. This ultimate freedom in the Pyrenees is magically beautiful and how will you tell this experience at home? Additional advantage: there is hardly any traffic. We will enjoy an extensive lunch at a worldly location.

Thursday, June 19, 2025 - Hotel & Spa Monasterio De Boltaña

After breakfast at 08:00 we will face our last day under the enthusiastic guidance of the local mountain professionals. - Expect today another ride on unpaved roads with the most beautiful landscapes and challenging passages. How beautiful can motor life be?

Friday June 20, 2025 - Hotel & Spa Monasterio De Boltaña

Today is a rest day. But that's a good thing, last night we had a nice closing evening with our new friends for life, it was fun! Fortunately, you can do whatever you want today. For example, a small morning ride through the mountains (planned and devised by Bart). I hope that goes well! Or just stay at the pool at the accommodation. In the afternoon there is a wine tour on the program, delicious wine tasting followed by dinner in a good restaurant.....

Saturday June 21, 2025 - Hotel Ibis Barcelona

Today we say goodbye to our familiar accommodation on the Ara River, what a beautiful place it was to never forget. From Botaña we leave for our starting location in Barcelona, a beautiful varied mountain tour ahead. Save your strength and energy because tonight is "bonte avond" and the trip is as good as over.
